A healthy, adoptable cat that was not adopted, but simply disappeared.

What does a 'walk through' constitute?

Why were cat traps set behind the shelter?

Poor disease prevention advice.

Animal Control Officers are reminded to do their job...

Someone concerned about the evaluation of adoptable dogs posed this question. The answer tells you just how serious this shelter is about the care of the animals in their charge.

Thankfully the 2 that disappeared were pulled by Holisticat Rescue and Rehabilitation! They are now happy and healthy and living in a loving home together!

Dog Run. No access to outside. No bed, only a riser.

Very ill cat left in the seven day hold room after coming to the shelter.

Untreated dogs stacked in cages.

Anecdotal story from someone who supports change.

Fritz was killed because he had ringworm, a completely treatable, non-life threatening skin disease which is very common. He was otherwise completely healthy and a favorite of volunteers.

Sick, untreated kittens. Outcome unknown
